Scaley the Robot

Meet Scaley. She's a robot.



Scaley was built to scale mountains. Unfortunately, Scaley has suffered some retrograde amnesia (someone force-pushed and accidentally deleted the commit history), and now it's your job to try help Scaley recover her lost memories.

Build short instruction sequences that scale to the task at hand. Recover more lost instructions and lost memory as you climb higher.

= CONTROL FLOW

- Instructions play left to right and loop back to the start when reaching the end.
- If an instruction fails, the execution goes back to the start.
- Brackets repeat the instructions within them until one of the instructions fails.

= EDITING THE INSTRUCTION SEQUENCE

- The available instructions are shown in the bottom right.
- Add an an instruction by pressing the key shown on it.
- Move the cursor around using the arrow keys.
- Delete instructions with backspace or delete.

= OTHER CONTROLS

- Press ENTER to submit the instruction sequence.
- Toggle between automatic execution  and manual mode with G.
- Press F to fast forward or step one instruction at a time (depending on mode).
- Press R to reset to the last checkpoint.
- Zoom in and out using the mouse scroll wheel.
